This here is where my kidz is sleepin’. Ester dug this here nest with her back legs and put them eggs in there. I don’t know how many kidz we gonna have, though….that girl didn’t want nuthin’ to do with me last night. I did sum readin’ and learnt that a cooter can lay anywhere from 2-20 eggs and them suckers will hatch in 2-3 months. Wish me luck, y’all!!

The creek is still plenty high…y’all be sure to wear your rain boots and bikini top. DON”T forget the BUGSPRAY!!! Them skeeters is leathal!!
