Creek Clean Up

We are going to be cleaning the creek on our Grand Opening weekend of April 28th and 29th . Please come out and join our paddling. On the 28th we will meet at Culpepper Landing around 8 am and meet our friends from wowpaddleboards.com and motherocean.org for a few hours. Kayaks and paddle boards will be working their way up to Cypress Springs and picking up garbage. On the 29th, we will meet at our property in Vernon around 10 am; some of the canoes and kayaks will paddle down to Brunson Springs and some will go up to Cypress again.  Just for showing up, you will be provided a free rental for the day. First come, first serve only (rsvp is necessary to hold your vessel). What better way to give back to the river than to pick up all the garbage left behind by our daily use?. Also, on the 29th, there will be small door prizes and a contest for the group who brings in the most garbage. See you there!

Free Canoes/Kayaks for the first people who want to paddle them
Ice cold sodas and juice for the kids
Attire: Swimsuit or equivalent, old sneakers.
Bring: Sunscreen, bugspray, dip nets, 5 gallon buckets, camera, a picnic, a great attitude.
